AT SILVER ZONE BRISTOL AIRPORT - In addition, we are now able to pre-book your holiday parking for you at The Silver Zone, Bristol Airport FROM just £29 for up to 8 days (peak times are £2 per week extra). This rate applies to parking booked more than 7 days in advance. The car park is just four miles from us, on the same road, on the way to the airport. The last half mile is by courtesy airport bus. Please ask for this service and we will be happy to book for you.
We are also able to pre-book the full range of fully flexible, on site Bristol Airport parking for you.

Your Deposit
Unless a booking is made at last minute, you will be asked to pay a non refundable deposit by cheque or debit/credit card. This payment will be deducted from your final bill when paid on arrival. If your booking is last minute, you will be required to pay in full by debit/credit card.
Please request a receipt for your deposit at time of booking, if required.
Payment of Bill
You will be asked to pay your bill on arrival. Please check your room first to ensure that it suits your requirements. Thank you.
Cancellation
When you make a reservation either by telephone, e-mail or in writing, you enter into a legal contract with the proprietor. If you subsequently cancel your reservation the proprietor may ask you for compensation. This will probably involve the loss of your deposit and perhaps an additional payment. Last minute bookings (made within 48 hrs) have up to 2 pm on the day of stay to cancel the room without incurring charges. After this time, payment will be required in full. All other bookings secured with deposits have up to 2 days in advance to cancel without incurring additional charges. This does involve the loss of the deposit. If 14 days' notice is given it may be possible to use your deposit against a future stay. If no notice is given, payment is required in full. There may be an additional charge. Cancellations made after 2pm on the day of stay will be charged in full.
However, if the proprietor manages to re-let the room(s) he will not ask for compensation from you. It is therefore advisable to confirm your cancellation in writing as early as possible. Before booking, consider taking out insurance against your cancellation of the trip.

Nearby Cheddar is unique. Its distinguishing feature is the natural phenomenon of Britain's largest gorge. The Cheddar Yeo in Gough's Cave is Britain's biggest underground river, and the Gorge Cliffs are Britain's highest inland limestone cliffs. The Gorge is a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of the calcareous grassland, Karst limestone butresses and Horseshoe Bats. Peregrin falcons nest on the cliff face and Soay sheep keep the scrub in check. Gough's Cave is an internationally famous archeological site because of its Late Upper Paleolithic finds (12-13,000 years old) and contained Britain's oldest complete skeleton (9,000 years old). It lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a candidate for Special Area for Conservation status.
The Village of Cheddar has a long and ancient history, having been important Roman and Saxon Centres. As early as 1130 AD, the beauty of the Gorge was recognised as one of the "Four wonders of England". Historically, Cheddar's source of wealth was farming and cheese making for which it was famous as early as 1170 AD. In the 17th/18th Centuries, the many watermills ground corn and made paper, and from the Victorian period, largescale production of clothing. Popular tourism began with the opening of Cheddar Valley Railway in 1869/1870, which provided workers from towns with the opportunity to enjoy a days outing for the first-time as a Bank Holiday. The railway also allowed people to live within sight of a high-profile beauty spot, the Gorge, but work further away (the start of the commuting trend). Cheddar, both the Village and Gorge today provides both shopping and leisure opportunites for all ages.

The Golden City of Bath lies between the Costwold Hills to the north and the Mendips to the south and is unique in the UK as the only Hot Springs in the country. From AD43 the Romans started their development of Bath as a city of recreation and built around the hot springs, a sophisticated series of baths for bathing and curative purposes.

Moreover, Bath takes a real pride in sharing its secrets and unique heritage, which can be explored in a variety of 40 or so museums, galleries, gardens and attractions. Yet Bath is very much alive and offers an intriguing mix of theatre, festivals, good restaurants, sporting excellence and quality shopping.
